Turkish is a fiendishly difficult language but at least it got a bit easier when Ataturk decided in 1928 to use the Roman alphabet instead of the previous Arabic one.
Turkiye has of course become a popular holiday destination and, as ever, the locals will appreciate it if you can say please and thank you and use a few more basic expressions when visiting their country.
Our Discover Turkish course will introduce you to the language and cover a number of basic items such as greetings, numbers, P’s and Q’s and other useful expressions. You will also learn some more about the country and language, to enhance your visits.
This course for adults is designed to give you an introduction to Turkish. We will focus on oral-aural skills more than the written word, so that by the end you can communicate at a basic level.
