“The World of Jane Austen” takes a look at the life and works of this great female writer.  She lived for some time Winchester, our home city, and is buried in its cathedral, but moved to Bath with her family aged 25.  Her works have fascinated readers for centuries, and continue to be popular today, with many film and TV adaptations.  Is the fascination just with the manners of her times, or does she have something profound to say for people across the ages?”
