Italian for young learners - June-July '23

“Buon giorno! I am a native Italian speaker with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Milan, Italy. My love for languages always led me around the world, writing about different cultures and people in my role as a journalist for an Italian American newspaper. In the last eight years I have finally settled down in Hampshire where I am enjoying working both as a learning support assistant, in a primary school, and as an online tutor for Italian and German. My teaching style: learning a new language must be fun. I like using all possible resources available such as songs, films and stories to engage my students, maintaining an eye for their targets, abilities and needs. As the American journalist Flora Lewis once said: “Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same thing, but learning another way to think about things”. I am looking forward to starting with you this fascinating experience through the Italian language!”.
