This course is designed to increase your fluency, by introducing a series of discussion points around topics.  You will develop your vocabulary range both in terms of individual words and expressions.  You will practise structures and grammatical elements in context at an advanced level.  Lots of fun, and you will increase your confidence!

What will I get from this course?

Each course covers a series of topics, with 2 covered per session. The topics are general/universal and not related to the culture of the country/countries whose language you are studying.  The aim is to help you converse on a general level at an advanced standard.

  • Materials required: Materials are provided.
  • When is follow-on course? The follow-on course is straight October half term.
  • Social events: This course takes place at Mint Yard, the Square, so after class you can visit one of the coffee shops or bars nearby with your friends and carry on practising!
  • Exam: We will advise you on possible tests you can take. There is no mandatory exam at the end of this course.
